When the film and television rights to GDR’s best-selling novel Shantaram became free again in 2017, Empathy Arts SA forged a new relationship with Paramount Pictures and Anonymous content who eventually secured the rights along with retaining one of Empathy Arts’ founder board members as an Executive Producer. Shantaram the TV series is currently streaming worldwide on Apple TV+ and stars Charlie Hunnam as the lead.
